About Zohar Kosher products

Broom Lane Enterprises is a small, family business that was established in 1974 in Manchester, England. Our first Kosher product was a toothpaste, which we launched in 1979. Our initial market survey told us that nobody was really interested in buying “Kosher” toothpaste, and we should therefore initially manufacture no more than 100 tubes. Our manufacturer, however, was a “household” name and had a minimum-order quantity of 18,000 tubes. We decided to take the plunge anyway and in 1979 launched our toothpaste. Beginnings were hard, but within the first 12 months we somehow managed to sell the entire batch. This initial success spurred us on to add more products to the range; and the company has been steadily increasing ever since. Today, our range consists of at least 50 items.

All our products are subcontracted to medium-sized, quality, non-kosher factories that produce between them our range to our own designs and specifications. This arrangement gives us the flexibility to keep up with market trends and developments by giving us the choice to change factories at will.

We enjoy demand for ALL of our products, all of the time. We have no “seasonal” products and even those with a Passover Hechsher are available all year round.

Our product s are sold in every Kosher outlet in the UK including some of the leading supermarkets, Tesco and Sainsbury’s.
